I'm a freelancer
The biggest benefit of working with a freelance designer is that you get to work with us directly. Also, being a small business we have the advantage of lower costs which can be passed to our clients. Freelance is a tough but very rewarding business. Your project will have a much better chance of being completed quickly as I opt to work in and outside of traditional office hours.
I'm a one woman show
I work with you one-on-one throughout the entire design process from start to finish. I get to know you and the ins and outs of your business, tailoring designs to suit your unique brand's identity and requirements. Having the one designer who knows your specific needs without the constant recap can be a huge time saver!

That's right, we live in a beautiful, sunny part of Queensland, where the whales come to visit every year during the winter months! I am predominately online based, especially nowadays, using email communications and Zoom conference calling with it's screen share capabilities for client interactions, feedback and amendments.
Design Prices
We charge a set fee per design project, so you know exactly how much to budget for. If additional work or rush requests occur outside of the original scope, additional charges may be incurred which you will be notified about prior to commencement of such requests. We consider our pricing as very reasonable as we work efficiently and produce high quality work. We make our prices as affordable as possible, but never compromise on quality. Because we are an online studio with low business costs, we have been able to offer low-cost projects.
Payment Options
You can easily make payments via Paypal, credit card, bank transfer with our details listed at the bottom of your invoice or cash in person, if local to Hervey Bay. A retainer payment is required upon booking or acceptance of our quote. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work, prior to the delivery of files. If a project is expected to take longer than four weeks to complete, then an additional payment of 50% of balance owing will be requested at the four-week mark. Please note that prices listed on our profile in the Wix Marketplace are $USD and prices on our website are $AUD.
The Design Process for Brand Identity

Meet & Learn – We meet (virtually) and learn about your business, your purpose in creating visual content and set goals for the project.

Research – We hit the books, scour the internet and more to learn about your industry. We also learn as much as we can about your competitors. This way we can give you the best, most unique design solution possible.

Sketch – We sketch out ideas to create as many different concepts as possible, choosing the ones that suit your needs the most.

Concepts – We take our concepts and flesh them out. Here we create variations of each concept to suit multiple platforms and keep a consistent story across the channels.

Present – We present these concepts to you, explain the rationale behind each concept and why they would be successful. You then provide us with your feedback and what you feel resonates best with your needs.

Revise – We take the concept that appealed to you the most and begin to make the necessary revisions based on your feedback. Keeping the project goals in mind, we develop the concept into a full-fledged set of designs. We follow up with you and may go a second round of revisions to finalise the project. This step I find most efficient when completed one-on-one or via a zoom meeting sharing screens.

Deliver – Once everything is approved, payments are finalised, we send all the files to you in various formats, each suited for specific platforms.

Launch – Now you roll out your new brand identity with amazing designs to really turn heads!
Time-frames & Urgent Requests
Ideally, you should allow sufficient time (3-4wks) for the designing and proofing of your project. If your deadline is very tight, we will do our best to complete your work within this time or sooner where possible. I am always happy to consider taking on rush projects, pending the complexity of the project and time-frame available. If a rush deadline cannot be met, you will be notified prior to project acceptance. Additional fees apply.
Note: All time-frames are subject to the communication from both parties and additional requests.
Printing
We can provide printing services through a third-party supplier. We have strong connections with some quality print companies around Australia and are happy to help you with all your printing needs.
The nitty gritty details
You don't like the end result
We want you to be happy with the final result. We pride ourselves on providing excellent design, solving problems, and doing everything we can to ensure our clients are satisfied. In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with our work and wish to cancel your contractual agreement, please let us know in writing. Retainer payments to commence work are non-refundable.
Copyright ownership
Once you have paid in full for your design project, the ownership of the design belongs to you. For design projects using Wix's or our own templates, stock images and videos etc: No, copyright ownership remains with Wix and/or MissCreative Design Studio™.
Inspiration Images and Designs
While we love seeing ideas you've found online, we cannot copy or recreate them as that is a breech of the owner's copyright. This also includes licensed products/designs such as Disney. We also cannot use images from Google’s image search or other online images that haven't been correctly sourced. We recommend sourcing free/paid images from Wix or other websites which allow editing and commercial use.
Your friend will 'do it for free'
Unless they are qualified and experienced in the industry you usually get what you pay for. You need to be aware of what professional graphic and web design involves and that what you are getting designed has not been ‘taken’ or ‘borrowed’ from a clipart site. Do some research and ask questions. Just because I own a hammer doesn’t mean I can build a house.
Ongoing costs with your Wix Website
Wix websites are subscription based which is billed annually by Wix. The Wix subscription fees are in addition to our design solution prices. Wix websites are non-transferable outside of Wix as they are built using Wix Classic Editor or Editor X online software programs. Wix does not currently offer email hosting, we can help set this up for you using Google Mailboxes - such options may incur third-party monthly subscription costs.
